It was reasonably priced. View was picturesque, breakfast was savoury, and beds were very big. Authentic cuisine was served in the attached restaurant.

The room was spacious and delightful, with smoke detectors for safety and a large bed. It also had a balcony with lovely views of the cathedral.

I booked a family king room for 1 night and had a fairly nice stay. The fact that it overlooked garden.

I asked for family room and it was generous-sized and newly renovated with a bath.

Efficient check-in, parking on-site. Marvellous selection for breakfast with a lovely view and order food, for example.

It was important to get wheelchair accessible room with a lovely view, comfortable twin beds and bedroom and that went well.

We had fantastic value for our money at this hidden gem. The room was gorgeous, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect – just a short walk into town.

We recommend this hotel, it was spotlessly clean and well priced. Everything was very enjoyable, including top-class staff and unbeatable location to the cathedral-great.

I spend 2 nights in Durham really good. The room was bright and immaculate and offered with great views, bedroom plus a huge window overlooking the garden. Moreover, The Way was 15 minutes' walk away. To be honest I appreciated how polite and courteous the staff is, would come here again.

I loved the cozy room and the incredibly comfortable beds, plus the location was perfect - within easy walking distance to all the city's attractions.

Very friendly efficient and wonderfully helpful staff at check-out, newly renovated double room. Peaceful and perfect location so close to Glasgow airport, free parking onsite. Based close enough to the Indian restaurant in the evening.
